AKSD Students Recognized for 2009 Achievments
DALLAS, Texas -- December 19, 2009 -- This year's awards ceremony was a great success.
The evening began by all the students bowing in (filling up the entire mat) and a brief introduction of all the Black Belts.
The presentation of the awards were as follows:

Mr. Gomez and Mr. Cmar then presented Isaac Vidales with the "SWAT Member of the Year award". This was an award Mr. Cmar recieved as a young student under Mr. Dorsey, and has now passed it down to Mr. Vidales.

Mr. and Mrs. Gomez then presented Mr. Bennett with a special award in appreciation of all the work he has done with the school, the students, the website, behind the counter... and even with Rachel Gomez's homework.
The evening's presentations concluded when Mr. Gomez thanked everyone who wrote a review during our appreciation campaign and encouraged everyone to do more here. He also thanked the students for their hard work and the parents for all their support and sacrifices.
Good job to all AKSD students and let's make 2010 even better!
